COMMENTS: ‘ Romeo’ is a bay colt sired by Chatham Rebel Futur out of Du Coteau Surprise Hazy. Last measured at 9 months old at 13.2 hands. He is a large-boned colt with a super disposition. He was imprinted at birth and loves to pick up articles and carry them – eg. Buckets, large construction cones, empty milk jugs, keys from your back pocket, garden hose, beach balls, lead shanks, etc.

Romeo does all of the Parelli Level I games and has been started on Level II ground work. He is a very curious type and loves to please people. He is not a ‘run and hide’ horse – he stands his ground and checks new things out. He stands untied to have his feet trimmed and is very level-headed. He can be led with just a string over his neck. Loading into a step-up trailer is no problem.

This colt has excellent conformation and not only would be an excellent Canadian Horse sire for its own breed, but also to cross with other breeds.
